When Teal goes to work out, she never dreamed it would lead to a heated encounter
with a devastatingly handsome, and much younger, stranger. There is instant chemistry;
but inevitably, the consequences become too much to ignore. Mac is masterful and
commanding, just what she needs to counterbalance her high stress job. They generate
sparks each time they meet, but can they withstand the complexities life decides to
throw at them?
This story dealt with a somewhat controversial subject which I cannot discuss without
giving away one of the big surprises in this book. It kept me riveted in my seat, with my
mouth open in shock as I read. I loved the way the author contrasted the sexual heat
between the hero and heroine with the more graphic, yet ultimately colder, ones
between the secondary characters. Mac is supremely alpha and Teal is his perfect
complement. The hot and wonderfully written love scenes kept me engrossed from page
one.
