Remy Renee is not human; she is of a race of being called Auralites. She works in a shop she owns called Urbane, where she designs clothes for Auralites and humans a like. She is a purple Aura Auralite and for the most part she lives and works only around purple Auralites. Until she meets one of her favorite authors in a book store.

Jace Williams is also an Auralite. He is a blue Auralite and he has friends that are both blue and purple. He is a famous author, and uses a lot of his energy trying to reconcile the prejudices of blue and purple Auralites. When he meets Remy in a book store he can not get her out of his mind, and begins a campaign to get her to go out with him.

Remy and Jace are of a race of beings that even though their only difference is the color of their Aura’s they can not seem to get past old wounds that was done by blue to purple many years ago. Even though Jace does not have a problem with the color or Remy’s aura she can not seem to get past her own hang ups. Even in the day and age they live in most Auralites do not like mixed couples.

Aura of Love is a nicely written story that teaches all of us that love can over come any problem even prejudices. That love can cross any boundary. The characters of Remy and Jace are very well written, and you can find yourself relating to the both of them. This story pulls you along through the main characters trials and triumphs. I liked this story over all, but felt it dragged a bit in the middle. When the story was going it was really a book worth reading.
