After being abducted by slave traders while visiting her aunt in Italy, Lady Celia Davenport is being held captive in a harem. She has been abused, violated and kept in seclusion awaiting her first lover and having to act submissive or else.

Robert St. Claire, the Earl of Grayson is visiting in Africa with a friend who happens to be the Prince of a wealthy Sultan. As a gift for him he is presented with a sex slave who happens to be the daughter of the Duke of Rushton, a friend of his acquaintance.

Robert is in a quandary, he is not sure what he can do to help Celia, much less himself, out of this predicament. He knows he must take what is offered to him by the Sultan but with no choice but to make the best of it he initiates Celia to the joy of sex and lovemaking. After his trip is over he wants to be able to take her back with him to England and they must play a game to win her freedom.

This is truly an enchantingly sexually explicit and steamy tale. It is a story told from the life experiences of one of the members of an elite club. What makes this horrifying is that women were, and still are, sold on the slave market. The more beautiful the better the price to be had. Luckily for Robert and Celia it has a happy ending but still one shudders to imagine it happening to themselves. I am sure all true erotica readers will love the sex scenes but tempered with a very caring story to bring about a great balance with a bit of history thrown in for effect.
