Braelynn Burke is a woman on a mission. She is traveling all over the nation getting stories about angels, and debunking the myth that there really are angels out there. She is in Kansas and stranded when her car dies right in front of Gabe.

Gabe Harding is the local mechanic in the area and is there when Braelynn and her car come into town. He is now stuck with putting her up for the next week or so until he can fix her car for her.

Gabe has no use for women in his life. Being a widower with a young daughter, he hates the idea that this city woman, Braelynn, can just come in his life and tear it all up. She is looking for the man who talked to an angel, and that is too close to his heart to let her know it is him she is seeking for her story. His dead wife came to visit him as an angel when he was in a coma and told him to find love again and a mother for his daughter Rachel. But Braelynn cannot be that woman, can she?

Get out the hankies because you will need them for this teary eyed emotional rollercoaster. I can sum this message in one line: "There are no coincidences, only reasons why and timing is key." I have found that to be very true for everything in life and this book mentions those aspects from beginning to end. It just happens to be something familiar and makes total sense when reading about Braelynn and Gabe. Their meeting is no coincidence; the reasons why she is there and the exact timing for both of them, especially towards the ending. This book reminds us that there truly are angels among us all.
