Dylan is a man who is sick and tired of being told what to do. His high society mom Veronica and her new husband Hal are driving him up the walls. Dylan is still looking for that one woman for his life, and gets blown away by Kristen. He wants to get to know her better, but something seems to be in the way.
Kristen Stafford is finally coming to terms with being single at the age of 33. She is not used to being admired by men and it makes her uneasy. She is a woman full of passion, but has not found the right man. She is beginning to wonder if she ever will find one.
Being invited to her son’s birthday party was difficult enough, but then seeing this hunk of a man who was 10 years younger made her miserable. Not to mention the fact that he is her son Sean’s stepbrother. She has feelings come to the surface that she has not felt since before the divorce. Dylan shows her how to be truly loved and cared for, yet can she overcome the town’s gossiping and learn to trust another gorgeous man?
Ms. Wilde had me seriously considering a cold shower. Her writing had me turning the pages. The steamy scenes made me feel every emotion possible. I found myself having to read slower to not miss anything. Kristin and Dylan are two amazing people who not only found love, but they also learned to let nothing stand between them. This story was emotional, gripping, and one I recommend. Just keep in mind that you may need a cold shower afterwards.
