Blue Eyes by Leigh Ellwood

Chuck DuClay is serving in Iraq and is frustrated with losing the love of his life. He is not sure how he will make it through the next twelve months when another member tells him about porn night. He has a laptop and decides to go. However, he soon loses interest and leaves the tent only to meet someone he thinks is his ex-girlfriend, Rita. He is surprised when it is not Rita at all but an Alien whose reason for seducing him leaves him speechless.

Chuck is a sweet person but really must be around someone to whom he can be close. He is having a very difficult time being with just guys but cannot bring himself to visiting a prostitute. The Alien wants to continue their race and sees this as the only option available.

The setting comes across as very real. Chuck and the “alien” are very well described and I really liked that.

Hellion by Mae Powers

Helliania “Hellion” Hernandez is part of "the Harem", a secret service agency. Dr. Jared Huntington and Boggin help heal Helliania after she almost dies at the hands of Gen. Kronnus’ soldiers. Once Hellion figures out that Tyrah is behind the whole scheme, she becomes even more determined to see Gen. Kronnus fail. Jared and Boggin are men who have great knowledge of the area and can help her with defeat the General.

Hellion can only hope all will go well, must first figure out where her allegiance lies. Jared hides because his theories are not embraced by anyone. Boggin is considered ugly and must be accepted in order to feel wonderful. Hellion can help both men if she looks into her heart.

This story was beautifully written and I loved Boggin. He was a different creature but made everything so much more alive.

Tigre Moon by Jenna Leigh

Neri is a slave and an innocent but that has not stopped Tael from buying her. He feels she could be the one to finally lift the curse from him and his brother Tam. Neri is afraid and unsure of what to think about being the catalyst for them. But she has been bought and no matter what happens will go through with it. She can only hope that it will work because her feelings for Tael run very deep.

Neri’s innocence is not what causes Tael to buy her. He senses she can help him and his brother. Tael and Tam want to experience freedom and are willing to pursue any avenue to get that accomplished.

A family curse is an idea that is easy to understand. Neri really wants to help but I was not sure at first if she would go through with it. It iss a beautiful, passionate, and suspensful story.

He Comes in Peace by Megan Hussey

Capt. Muriel Stone is putting herself back together after her husband leaves her for another woman. She is thinking of exploring a new pleasure plant with her old friend Phillip Morrow, knowing that he will keep her safe. But then he tells her that he is unable to go and is sending her Jaron Ken, a recent graduate from the school she founded. Jaron is a rookie and Muriel doubts his abilities as second in command never thinking she will command him everywhere including the bedroom.

Hurt by her husband's actions, Muriel needs to feel release in her life but is not willing to find that out. Jaron can hardly believe his luck when he is placed under her supervision to take the trip. He is so pleased and hopes he can woo and win her.

Rebirth in life is a good thing, especially after a tragedy. Muriel realizes that Jaron is what she needs. But knowing and accepting for her are two very different things. Jaron being hot could be her deciding factor.

All four stories are wonderfully told. I felt like I got to know the characters of each story very well and longed for more than I was given, yet pleased with how each story played out. I liked all of them equally. Each one had a different scenario to present and I loved the way they followed each other. It was nice to start with a quick read and end with a story I wished would never end.
