Kyler Antoinette Jefferson wanted vanilla ice cream. She had no idea when she reached for the container that another person would desire the same ice cream. What she got was something much sweeter, lasting long after the ice cream was gone.
Jack Connor Holst offers to buy the pint of ice cream if Kyler will share it with him. He is surprised when she wholeheartedly accepts. She has a certain allure that Jack is quite taken with, that could end up with sweet memories.
Kyler surprises herself when she accepts Jack’s invitation to share the ice cream. She is serious when she confesses she has never picked up someone like this before. Every time she speaks, Jack likes her more. Kyler feels a spark when he is next to her. He knows how to sweep a woman off her feet. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she moved to Los Angeles seven years ago. She needed a change and is now a waitress. Jack confesses he was once an Eagle Scout. Kyler is used to men saying anything to get what they want, but something about Jack’s charisma assures a relationship with him could be solid.
The sex sizzles between Kyler and Jack, from the bedroom to the shower. They trigger an inferno heat that shoots fire all the way to the moon, from slow seduction to hot and heavy. As Jack casually points out, one never is aware where the ice cream begins with Kyler, but it ends in 32 Flavors. While the ice cream may quickly melt, their passion soars with a fervent heat. D. Rosema pens an eye-opening read that definitely gets the juices blazing. He molds two life-like characters, believable in their actions, that reach out to each other, overcoming any past obstacles that cling to their memories.
