Victoria Edison knows all about scandal. In the East, her mother has made quite a name for herself and Victoria wants nothing to do with her.
Jed Adams hears nothing but shrewish words coming out of Victoria's mouth and he knows he is going to detest the woman. But even with the volatile attitude she has that sets him off, he cannot help but admire the succulent body she has.
Clint Fortune and Riley Jansen are co-partners with Jed on the J Bar C Ranch. While Jed may have a hard time handling the feisty eastern woman, Clint and Riley know she is the woman they have been looking for.
Somehow Victoria finds that she is once again in the heat of scandal when her stubbornness gets her into more trouble than she can handle. Determined to fix it, she agrees to marry Jed, not realizing that by doing so, she has also committed herself to Clint and Riley. But the J Bar C Ranch's nemesis is out to damage the three men who own it and he will strike them where it hurts the most. Will Victoria get the love of a lifetime with the three men who hold her heart, or will she once again find herself in the middle of a scandal with no way out?
Ms. Butler has written a great tale that includes characters that seemed to mesh extremely well. I liked how each of the men had different characteristics and temperaments that complimented and had them fitting into the story like puzzle pieces. I found that Victoria's fear of scandal was very realistic, although I do wish she could have trusted the men a little bit sooner with the truth. The villain in this story was also depicted quite brilliantly and I despised him even before I actually met him. 1 Bed, 2 Weddings, 3 Husbands is a fulfilling and tantalizing tale that hit all the right spots in my reading palet.
