Twas the Night Before Christmas

Is there any story more popular at this time of year? If so, I don’t know of it. I think this story is probably most special for me because of my grandma. I remember sitting on her lap as she rocked me in her rocking chair and as she rocked, she would recite this poem by Clement Clarke Moore. I wonder if Mr. Moore ever imagined that a woman in her late 30’s would sit at a desk 186 years later and cry as she wrote about one of the greatest stories of all time. My grandmother passed away 9 1/2 years ago, yet this poem still touches my heart in inexplicable ways. It will be one of my fondest memories until the end of my days.

That was very eloquently put Kimberly! Makes me want to read it just for the poignancy. Thanks for sharing.
